Lighting speedpaint

A one hour test to try a fully realized piece from scratch without reference. No tools other than brush, smudge and blend. Top piece was polished up a little bit to lend more realistic lighting and shadows to the piece and the bottom is what was finished at about 55 minutes.

A little extra time tweaking the shadows and textures for the pipes to add a bit more realistic lighting.

1 hour speedpaint to test how quickly I can get a fully realized concept with lighting, background and composition. Whipping out a figure is much easier for me I find.
